NEW: Guidelines for the Submission of Camera Ready Papers

  • Manuscripts may not exceed 8 pages including figures, tables and references. Additional pages can be added at an extra cost of $15 per page.
  • The deadline for receiving the camera ready version of papers  is a HARD deadline. Any papers received after the deadline, will not be included in the proceedings.

Please follow the following  steps  to submit your camera ready paper:

  1. Carefully read the reviewers’ comments on your paper and modify the paper accordingly.
  2. Carefully read  and follow the Guide for authors by Elsevier: http://www.elsevier.com/journals/procedia-computer-science/1877-0509/guide-for-authors. Templates for formatting your paper are  provided below under (ACLing templates). Authors are strongly discouraged from modifying the style files, including paper size, margin width, and font size restrictions. Any violation to the file format, may result in the paper not being published in the proceedings.
  3. You should submit both the source file (Word or Latex) of your Camera-ready paper, and a PDF version in a single zip file.  Files should be named using the following convention: ACLing2017_PaperNumber_authorslastname.docx,  and ACLing2017_PaperNumber_authorslastname.pdf. Similarly, the zip file to be submitted must be named using the same convention:  ACLing2017_PaperNumber_authorslastname.zip
  4. The zip file should be sent to ACLing2017@gmail.com  with the subject line: Submission of <PaperNumber>. You should expect to receive a notification shortly afterwards.

Make sure that one of the paper’s authors is registered before Sept. 10th.

Copyright: Elsevier has now automated the exclusive license transfer process. The copyright form will be directly sent to the Authors during production.

Guidelines for Submission of Papers

  • Submissions must be based on unpublished original research and must be submitted to ACLing only, i.e. not currently under review for any other conference or journal.
  • Submitted manuscripts should be structured as technical papers.
  • Submissions should conform to both blind review instructions and multiple submission policies available below in order to avoid rejection.
  • Manuscripts may not exceed 8 pages including figures, tables and references.
    • Notice that: additional pages per paper above the Eight (8) page limit will have an extra charge per page (see extra charges).
  • Submissions received after the due date, or not appropriately structured may also not be considered.
  • The conference will not consider the submission and evaluation of abstracts only.
  • Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the paper (see presentation requirements available below).
  • Electronic Initial Submission: ACLing2017 will use the EasyChair conference tool.

Guidelines for Formatting of Papers

Papers not following the following guidelines will be rejected without review nor appear in the proceedings.

  • The official language of the meeting is English.
  • Initial submissions should be anonymised (no authors, affiliations or addresses, and no explicit self-reference)
  • Both long and short papers should follow the ACLing 2017 one-column format, using either the Word template or the TEX Template available below.
  • Authors are strongly discouraged from modifying the style files, including paper size, margin width, and font size restrictions.
  • Please do not use templates designed for other conferences.
  • Please consult important FAQs about document preparation to be found  .. HERE ..
  • Initial submission format required: PDF

 The ACLing Review Model

The review policy for ACLing is peer review in order to guarantee scientific quality. Nevertheless, ACLing conference series is double-blind reviewing to reduce author bias, such as famous authors, and top universities or companies. So papers should not include the authors’ names and affiliations. Furthermore, self-references that reveal the author’s identity, e.g., “We previously showed (Smith, 1991) …”, should be avoided. Instead, use citations such as “Smith (1991) previously showed …”. Acknowledgments of funding or assistance should be omitted in the initial submission. Submissions should not contain pointers to supplemental information on the web. Submissions that do not conform to these requirements might be rejected without review. Separate author identification information is required as part of the online submission process through EasyChair.

Multiple Submission Policies

We will not accept for publication or presentation papers that overlap significantly in content or results with papers that will be (or have been) published elsewhere. Authors submitting more than one paper to ACLing 2017 must ensure that submissions do not overlap significantly (>25%) with each other in content or results.

Presentation requirement

All accepted papers must be presented at the conference to appear in the proceedings. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for ACLing 2017. Accepted papers will be presented orally or as a poster (at the discretion of the program chairs based on nature rather than the quality of the work). There will be no distinction in the proceedings between papers presented orally or as posters.
